The Edge at Hudson Yards
The Edge at the Hudson Yards was newly added to New York’s viewing points and is located on the 30 Hudson Yards. The skyscraper with triangle-shaped observation deck has become a favorite for the views and activities within the center.
First, it’s not like other observation decks. This one is really sticking out, quite literally, 80 feet off the building. Through the glass triangle at the center you can look 100 stories down through the floor. This is a very special experience. In addition, there are protective glass panels, which placed at an angle, let you slightly lean over the views.
Nonetheless, the Deck at the Edge offers incredible views of New York City and coming into the deck is made quite into a show itself. Most importantly, on a good-weather day you will be able to see Manhattan and New Jersey. You can see the iconic Statue of Liberty and the beautiful Central Park within the views. Because the weather in New York can vary dramatically, we strongly recommend to check the forecast before coming to avoid disappointments with the visibility.
