One World Observatory

One World Observatory (also known as the Freedom Tower) is very high-tech, and the tallest building in the western hemisphere. One World Observatory Building is exactly 1,776 feet, which is symbolic of the year that the USA was founded. Located exactly where 6 WTC used to be, when it was destroyed in the September 11 attacks.

The Memorial and Museum do an amazing job of showing the process of building such a colossal skyscraper in the modern-day and age. The elevator to One World Observatory is a very impressive lift: it goes up 1250 feet in 47 seconds, while showing you 500 years of Manhattan’s history.

At the observation deck you get the 360° city of the the city views. However, there is glass between you and the views at all times. There is also a restaurant for those who want to experience a drink or meal with a fabulous view.

Planning your trip to the One World Observatory.

Tickets:

General admission tickets start at $43, there are also “priority lane” and “flexible arrival” options available at extra charge. You can choose tickets that work best for you here.

We recommend combining your visit to the observation deck with the 9/11 Memorial and Museum. The memorial is located in the outdoor part at the site of the former Twin Towers.

Also, If you are looking for more attractions to visit around, we highly recommend you to see the Oculus. It is a huge architectural destination, the transportation hub and a shopping mall with local and national brands.

As for the food options, we suggest Eataly, Morton’s Steakhouse, Nobu Downtown, Kuu Ramen or Seamore’s
