Top of the Rock Observation Deck

Top of the Rock is the observation deck platform that crowns the famous Rockefeller Center, 30 Rockefeller Plaza. Even with all the newer observation decks it is by far the leader in the best views (in our opinion, but your should check for yourself). Because it’s located in Midtown on 50th Street between 5th and 6th Avenue, you get all the best views. Above all, here you will get panoramic, unobstructed views of the NYC skyline, including landmarks like the Empire State Building, Central Park and all the skyscrapers surrounding it. Indoor and outdoor viewing areas spread over 3 floors and it is open until midnight.

The viewing platform is a larger size comparing to Empire State Building and the two observation decks are open. On the highest level there are no panels separating you from the iconic views of New York City.
