Visit The Museum of Modern Art (MoMA)

The Museum of Modern Art (MoMa) was founded in 1929. At that time, it was the first museum to devote itself exclusively to the modern era. However, now it is arguably the most influential museum of modern art in the world. MoMA is home for some of the greatest works of avant-garde painting, sculpture, film, and multi-media art in the world.

To begin, it started from eight prints and one drawing. After all, the Museum’s collection now includes over 150,000 paintings, sculptures, drawings, prints, photographs, architectural models and drawings, and design objects; In addition to all of their exhibitions, they also have a sculpture garden, dedicated to one of the museum’s founders – Abby Aldrich Rockefeller.

Each ticket includes access to MoMA PS1, film screenings and special exhibits.

Free Fridays at the MoMa:

The Museum of Modern Art provides free admission every Friday night from 5:30 pm – 9 pm.

The free ticket gives you access to all the museum galleries and exhibitions. Film screenings are also free, however, you will need a separate ticket. Although, please note that it gets busy.

Military Discounts:

Active duty members of the US Military are entitled to one free ticket with a valid military ID. Families of US Military members will also be granted admission if they have dependent cards.
