Out of all the Best Ice Skating in NYC, in 2021 Wollman skating rink makes you feel like you are in one of the classic Christmas movies! Located in the heart of Central Park located at 59th Street and 6th Avenue, this rink is truly iconic. Wollman Rink is one of the most beautiful skating and event venues in the world. The spectacular views of the New York City skyline, and the very special Central Park vibes offer a classic festive experience.
Season Passes are offered here. They also offer special programs for hockey and figure skating for kids and adults.
Rate and Hours:
Monday-Tuesday: 10AM to 2.30PM
Wednesdey-Saturday: 10AM to 10PM
Sunday: 10AM to 9PM

Rockefeller Center’s this year skating season will be short. All because of a long-planned renovation of the plaza and the underground shopping concourse surrounding it. This season it will only run through the major winter holidays, but that’s about it. Closing on Jan. 17, several months early than normal.
However, The Rink at Rockefeller Center is now open and offering socially-distant ice skating. Skaters are invited to reserve tickets online for one of their 50-minute skating sessions.
The price varies depending on day and time and you will need to book it ahead.
* There are discounted options for early and late time slots.
Bryant Park Ice Skating Rink

Bryant Park truly transforms into a winter fairy tale each year! Thankfully, this year they kept the magic going. The Ice Rink, the Christmas Tree, cute little kiosks and European inspired open-air market. All put you into a festive mood.
All of the above, plus the Free admission makes it the best Ice Skating in NYC 2021 and also the most affordable in the City. * Keep in mind you will need to rent a pair of skates( if you don’t already have one) You must reserve a designated time ahead of arrival. Sessions are timed (morning ones at 8am are the longest, at 75–90 minutes).

Lakeside Prospect Park Ice Rink

Prospect Park’s Lefrak Center at Lakeside is the only two location to ice skate in Brooklyn this season. It has two ice rinks for skating – one open air, one covered;
Enjoy Ice Skating or try Curling at Lakeside in Prospect Park. Get your hot chocolate and glide outside on the ice!
For younger ice skaters there are adorable penguin skate aids that they can use to help them learn how to skate.
